Fresh Patch LA Event Terms & Conditions

Pet Attendance

By attending the Fresh Patch Fun House, I understand that I am responsible for my pet(s): well-being, behavior and, as such, I will be in control of my pet(s) at all times. As an event participant, I ensure my pet is up-to-date on all required vaccinations; and, to my knowledge, is free of any contagious diseases and/or conditions. I agree to keep my dog with me or a designated individual at all times. At no point will my pet(s) be left unsupervised.

I agree that, should my dog create any disturbances which cause complaints to be made by other attendees or staff at the event, I shall immediately make arrangements to remove my dog from the event. 

As a responsible dog owner, I further agree that I shall assume full and complete responsibility for any personal injury or property damage caused by the dog and suffered by any guest, employees, or invitees of the event. In the event that such personal injuries or property damage should arise, I agree to indemnify, defend and hold harmless Fresh Patch as well as its past and present officers, directors, employees, agents, attorneys, insurers, affiliated companies, successors and assigns, for any claim which may arise. 

Event Organizers (including their directors, officials, vendors, partners, and employees), in their discretion, reserve the right to refuse admittance to and/or eject any unruly, aggressive, unsuitable, or obviously ill pet.

Waiver of Liability

I understand that my attendance in the Fresh Patch Fun House is not without risk to myself, my pet, other family members or viewers, and other event participants (human or animal “pet”). These include, without limitation, risks of physical, mental and/or emotional injuries up to and including the possibility of death, contact with other participants and their pets as well as property damage. I acknowledge and appreciate all potential risks. I shall assume responsibility for and pay my and my pet’s medical and emergency expenses in the event of injury, illness, or other incapacitating event with or without authorization. I agree that I, as owner of my pet(s), am solely responsible for the pet(s) behavior and physical control and agree to carefully monitor and control them at all times. 

By reading, signing and attending the event, I hereby waive and release Fresh Patch, its sponsors, vendors, and/or owners of any or all premises on which this event is held, and/or its employees, agents and volunteers of said organization, from any and all damages, losses, fines, claims, suits, expenses (including attorney fees and defense costs), judgments and/or liabilities of any form or nature resulting from any act or omission of any pet or pet owner participating in the event. This release of liability includes, but is not limited to any injury, death, sickness or personal injury or property damage my pet or I may suffer while on or around the premises where the parade is held. This release also includes specifically, but without limitation, any and all forms of personal injury (including death) and property damage to myself, other persons, and other animals resulting from the act or omissions of any and all pets or pet owners and I expressly assume the risk of such damages or injuries and losses throughout the duration of the curriculum. 

I also agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Fresh Patch and/or the owners of all premises upon which this event is being held, and/or the employee’s agents, and volunteers of said owners from any and all claims, suits, losses, damages, expenses (including attorney fees and defense costs) judgments, fines, penalties and/or liabilities, due to any and all forms of personal injury (including death) and property damage which my pet or I may cause, or be alleged to have caused, to any person, animal, or property while on or around the premises where the parade is carried out, or in connection with the instruction provided by parade organizers, their employees, agents and/or sponsors. 

Photo/Video Release 

I understand that my RSVP is not a guarantee of my admission into this event. Upon attending this event, I understand that  my image and/or likeness may be captured and authorize Fresh Patch, LLC, as well as any and all affiliates hereafter referred to as "Fresh Patch", to use my likeness and/or audio included in, but not limited to: the creation of content, social media posts, live television, print and video marketing and advertisements, website placement, etc. Additionally, I attest that I will not hold Fresh Patch liable for any damages, accidents, sickness and/or injuries that occur to myself, my animal or any member of my party while attending Fresh Patch's event. 

Fresh Patch Fun House is for domestic pets. Owner must be present with their pet at all times. All pets will be leashed or carried. 

By attending the Fresh Patch Fun House, I hereby state that I fully understand and agree to the above terms and conditions.
