I don't know what took me so long to figure this out but it's a perfect soltuion for living in an apartment. As soon as I set it down my dog was on it doing her business! She loves it. Very satisfied!

Fostered a 10 week old Lab still working on potty training and never been in apartment before. He needed no encouragement and used it right away. I also bought a large size with tray but he had difficulty getting all 4 paws on pad and still hitting in the right spot.
