Best Dog-Friendly L.A. Restaurants

It's summer, and it's time to socialize! But why would you want to go anywhere without your furry best friend in tow? Thankfully, you don't have to! If you're meeting a friend for a bite to eat, there are plenty of restaurants in L.A. that will let your pup join, too.

Cat & Fiddle

Despite its name, this English pub is actually extremely dog friendly. Russell Brand and his dog, Morrissey, have been known to come in quite often. They even have a special dog menu so your pup can really enjoy lunching with you!

Grub

This is a small local spot that has great comfort food and the added comfort of bringing your pup! They also have funny dishes like the "Kevin Bacon" breakfast dish.

Ammo

Ammo, which just made a move to Melrose Avenue last year, kept the same food and crowd as its previous location. This is often a favorite place for celebrities and their furry friends and is a great place to grab a quick lunch.

The Fat Dog

This restaurant doesn't just have dogs in its name, it has dogs in its doors! It's super dog-friendly with American Bulldog art everywhere and has excellent pub food for humans.

Gayle's Perks

This cafe has a huge enclosed patio for you and Fido, plus another luxury that we love these days: free Wi-Fi. It's in a strip mall but has a very peaceful vibe. You can relax there with some sweet treats, a book, and of course, your dog.

Mauro's Cafe Fred Segal

If you like to eat on the healthier side, stop by this cafe for a quick bite between all the shopping you can do on Melrose. Naomi Watts and Amber Heard are both frequenters and love bring their Yorkshires and dining on the gluten-free pasta.

 The Sycamore Kitchen

This is possibly one of the restaurants that's most dog-hopping and has tasty but unique menu items like watermelon gazpacho and pork belly hash. A huge outdoor dining area leaves plenty of room for you, your dog, and human and doggy friends!

Ray's and Stark Bar

This bar is frequented by E! Entertainment and Academy Museum of Motion Picture execs, but it can also be frequented by you and your dog! Dogs are allowed on leashes and are provided with free bowls of water.
