Plastic Tray (Fresh Patch Standard)

14   |

The Plastic Tray is a great option if you are not going to use the functional cardboard box. The tray is designed to accommodate the Fresh Patch Standard grass pad (24" x 16").  The grass is easily removed from the cardboard box and inserted in the plastic tray.

The tray is helpful if:

1.  Your dog chews on the cardboard box

2.  Your Fresh Patch is being used outdoors in rain or snow

3.  Your dog needs a lower profile for entrance into the unit

Improve the looks of your Fresh Patch

The cardboard box is great, no leaks, but the tray makes the patch more attractive.

Fresh Patch Standard and Tray

We have a Yorkie and purchased the standard patch with black tray. Our yorkie loves it and ***** train has been easier. I do recommend the black tray or wooden box because dogs tend to chew on the cardboard. Our yorkie is 9 weeks old and I bought the black tray and wooden box . For right now we are using the black plastic since she’s so small. Perhaps latter we plan to transition into the wooden outer box. You really don’t need both.

Great for use outdoors

I had just been using the cardboard tray with the wood sleeve outside and it always looked horrible and if it rained, the cardboard would get warped and gross. Ordered the tray and although it hasn’t rained yet, it looks much nicer and is cleaner. I can also water the patch without worrying about the cardboard. Definitely recommend the plastic tray for outdoors.
